Glamglow Gift Box

Happy Friday Everyone!! I wanted to get this review before the this box was no longer available to purchase. I recently bought the Holiday Glamglow box from Sephora. I hardly find holiday sets that I love, normally they come with things that just aren’t for me, but I have to say that this box is a steal!! You get one full size mud mask, and two small size mud masks  for the price of one full sized mud mask! In this box you get a full size 1.7 oz ThirstyMud (which is good for skin hydration), 0.05 SuperMud (which is good for skin clearing and acne), and a 0.05 YouthMud (which is good for exfoliation). I love the white and blue bottle masks the most, i’m not that big of a fan of the exfoliating mud mask, it doesn’t really do anything for me. My only wish is that instead of the black exfoliating mask they gave you a small size of the green PowerMud mask (but that is just because I haven’t tried that one yet and I have heard so many great things about it), but overall I say that this is a great purchase. I got this box from sephora for $69, so you get three masks for the price of one! This box is also a great way to try out three out of the four different masks to see if they are for you, instead of paying $69 for each individual bottle.

Let me know if you want me to do an in-depth individual review of these mud masks, if your not sure about purchasing these because it can be a bit pricey. I have already done a review on the white GlamGlow SuperMud mask, but I would be happy to do a review of the others.

Here is my SuperMud mask review if you would like to check it out!

Real Benefit push-up liner review

Hi Everyone!! I hope that you all had an amazing weekend! I wanted to share a review of Benefits Real push-up liner. I know that they’re so many reviews on this product, and most of them I have read are not that great, and it has received not that great of reviews. I wasn’t sure that I was going to purchase this product, given all the negative reviews I have read. But I decided to get it anyway and I have to say that I personally love this product. I have always had a little difficulty applying my cat eye with a brush, but this makes it so much easier. I love the rubber tip and I like that the formula is waterproof. Yes the gel formula is a little dry, which doesn’t bother me too much because it is still very workable, but its still very black and it stays put without any smudging all day. And when I say it stays put, I mean it, it does take quite a bit of work to take it off, so be gentle to your eye when removing it, which is what I found to be the only downside to this liner.

The formula is thick and creates a matte black line. It is a twist dispenser, so only a little bit is dispensed at a time, which allows you to create a nice thin line. Don’t twist the tube too much or you will end up with too much product and clumps, and end up wasting your product. The rubber applicator tip and shape, allows you to make an easy cat eye, from a small cat eye to a big dramatic cat eye.

All in all, I really like this product and I thinks its perfect for those starting out with gel liner, because cat eyes are a little bit scary and this will make the process so much easier.

This product is $24. I purchased this at Sephora but you can also find it online, or at Ulta.

Summer Look-book new outfit!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! It’s taken me so long to find the perfect maxi dress. Every time  I try one on they are either too long, make me look pregnant (because I have big boobs).. and they just don’t look right. I finally figured out that I need to look for midi dresses because maxi is all wrong for a petit person!! I finally found one that I love and during the summer I grab every chance I can to wear this beautiful dress!

Electric Palette Day look

Hey guys!! Lately I have been so in love with the Urban Decay Electric Palette, that I wish I could use these shadows all the time, so I tried to do/find a look that was more wearable for the day time. I love watching various youtube tutorials, and I came across one by Leesha aka xsparkage and it was a tutorial using this palette. I of course modified it a little, because I don’t have every color she used, but I still love this look for just a little bit of color to brighten up your day/summer.

p.s. You can use false lashes to amp up the loo, but I have never really tried them or been in to gluing something to my eye, but I think that they would take this look to the next level.

Thank You for visiting!!!

Urban decay electric palette

Urban Decay recently came out with a new palette a few months ago called the Electric Palette. It’s amazing! The colors are super pigmented and really beautiful and bright. Normally I don’t wear any bright colors I usually go for nudes and browns (basically all neutrals), but I saw this at the store and I felt gutsy and decided to buy it. And I haven’t really tried any new makeup in a while, so I decided it was time to try something new and fun and play with some makeup since brighter colors are perfect for summer (even though summer is almost over.)

Here are some fun looks I created using this pallet, along with some basic shades to help tone down the colors for a more subtle pop of color. I use MAC’s soft brown, and scripts to help blend out this look a little bit.

Look one!
